Well, it started with an over zealous ABBA fan from the room next door determined to let the whole pub know her love for the swedish foursome.Fortunately for our sake knocking back too many shots too early ended her night early with a cab home and a bucket load of berrocca.

It was a great turnout for the club with plenty enjoying a post season bevy and sharing stories of their acheivements over the summer season.Times & placings seemed to improve as the alcohol flowed , but never let the truth (or the boozewharr ) get in the way of a good story..eh !

Our club champs for the season were :

The chick's : 1st Bev Thomas , 2nd Kirsten Norden , 3rd Dianne Di Cecco

The chap's : 1st MC for the evening , Mick Pratt , 2nd Chris Becker , 3rd Monty Frankish

Congrats to all and well deserved.

Special mention to Shaun Broadbent for being nominated clubperson of the year.Shaun did a sterling job of organising , transporting , setting up and taking home the tent for most races...please make sure you thank him personally , next time you see him.We all certainly appreciated it Shaun so many thanks for your efforts.

Other prizes varied from most consistent to the grumpiest and even the best in lycra..no we won't mention names, not surprisingly a chap didn't take out the last award.
