Squad Training 2021
The weekly training program consists of two swim sessions, two rides and two runs.
Both swim sessions are conducted at the Richmond Pool with no charge to enter and payment to ASF Triathlon who is the clubs training provider. Monday and Wednesday evening is the run session with a Tuesday evening bike session and Sunday morning long ride.
Tuesday night ride session will be outdoor over summer and revert to indoor session during winter.
The program is as follows :-
Monday - Run 6-7pm at the Tan
Tuesday - Swim Richmond Pool In the water at 6.05 for a 6.05-7.15am, Bike - 6-7pm On-line ( contact Michael Pratt)
Wednesday -Track Run 6-7pm Collingwood Track
Thursday - Swim Richmond Pool in the water at 6.05 for a 6.05-7.15am Richmond Pool
Sunday- Long Bike 7am leaving from Richmond Recreation Centre
AFS Triathlon offers a great pricing structure for members with access to all 6 sessions for just $25 per week

Special promotion if you start training with ASF Training Group the first 2 weeks will be at no charge. Brilliant opportunity to get involved.
Option 1 - Ongoing direct debit every fortnight @ $25 per week

Option 3 - Pay as you go - turn up at any session and pay with card or cash

Bike Challenge - The Serious Seven
This years bike challenge - The Serious Seven
The goal is to complete each of the seven climbs in the challenge by April 6th 2021.
The club will run an organised ride for each of the climbs or you can complete them in your own time.
Just tag #yarratri with an image of you on the top of the climbs to tick it off the list.
Everyone who completes the challenge with receive a free YarraTri prize and the chance to purchase an exclusive YarraTri Serious Seven cycle jersey.

5. Baw Baw
6. Lake Mt

Bright Training Weekend 2020
To kick off the challenge we are giving you the chance to tick off the first three climbs in one go with a weekend way in Bright.
With the ring of steel about to be lifted this will take part on November Friday 27th-Sunday 29th.
Like last years it’s in on Friday then two climbs on Saturday and one on Sunday

Yarra Triathlon offers seven different introductory short courses throughout the year covering Swimming, Cycling, Running, Strength Training, Duathlon, Triathlon and Junior Triathlon. Short courses provide structured training for beginners wanting to develop skills, knowledge and fitness in multisport training.
Short courses are a great introduction into squad training and provide participants with a pathway into the Yarra Triathlon program on completion of the course.

Squad Attendance Options
Yarra Triathlon has a wide variety of attendance options to suit you. Sessions can be attended casually or through a visit pass and with training sessions for all ages and fitness levels Yarra Triathlon is focused on participation and helping people achieve their goals.
