Yarra Tri Club Shines at the Victorian State Duathlon Championships in Ballarat

Our members headed to Ballarat for the opening race of the Triathlon Victoria Regional Series, the Community Bank Buninyong Sprint Duathlon, that also doubled as the Victorian State Duathlon Championships and first race in our State Series.

We’ve been encouraging athletes to get out into regional areas, support these events, and experience racing across Victoria. These races are a fantastic opportunity to challenge yourself, chase personal bests, and connect with the wider triathlon community.

Our athletes didn’t just show up, they dominated:

  • 🥇 1st Place: Penny, Karyn, Tristan, Michael, John

  • 🥈 2nd Place: Josie, Emily, Tom

  • 🥉 3rd Place: Andre

  • 4th Place: Sonja

  • 5th Place: Vanessa

An incredible start to the season! Congratulations to all competitors; we’re proud of the hard work and team spirit you bring to every event.

    • 1st: 5 points

    • 2nd: 4 points

    • 3rd: 3 points

    • 4th: 2 points

    • 5th: 1 point

  • Club Para & Multiclass Champions – Points for para-athletes and multiclass categories.

  • Club Women in Triathlon Champions – In the spirit of promoting female participation, this award recognises the club with the most women racing at Club Champs.
