It was a massive weekend for Yarra Tri Club, with athletes competing across two key events, Geelong 70.3 and the final 2XU Triathlon Series race at St Kilda and delivering outstanding performances across the board.
Geelong 70.3 Highlights
The Geelong 70.3 saw some incredible racing, with Trent and Stephen both claiming second place finishes, each just seconds shy of the top step, a testament to their grit and determination.
There were also a number of personal best performances, with Josh, Jack, Simon, and Rusty all achieving PBs. A special mention goes to Rusty, who completed his first race, marking an exciting milestone in his triathlon journey.![]()
St Kilda 2XU Triathlon Series Finale
At St Kilda, Yarra athletes once again showed their strength and depth.
Braylon continued his dominant form, taking out overall honours once again, while John, Marge, Tristan, and Carlo each secured category wins.
The podium was well represented by Yarra, with Ellie, Hannah, Vicky, and Michael R. all finishing in the top placings.
There were also fantastic performances by Jordan completed her first sprint distance race, delivering an exceptional performance with the fastest swim leg; George put together a strong Olympic distance race as he builds toward Western Sydney 70.3; and, Stuart rounded out the day with his best race of the season in the sprint distance.

A Season to Be Proud Of
This weekend was a fitting reflection of what has been an incredible season for Yarra Tri Club, not just in results, but in the team spirit, support, and camaraderie shown at every race.
